Hours: 37 per week
The Homefirst service is a fantastic initiative that supports our ambition to help adults live safe, healthy and independent lives. Due to increased investment we have the opportunity to offer several new posts.
If successful at interview, you’ll be working with adults across the county supporting adults who are in need of social care support; providing them with short term care using a Reablement approach.
You may have previous experience of helping adults who need a little extra support, but even if you don’t, we will provide you with the training you need to quickly and confidently develop the skills to carry out the role.
You will continue to receive a range of training and will benefit from access to daily advice, support and supervisions from Homefirst Care Coordinators, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, and from your Community Support Worker colleagues.
We deliver our support 365 days of the year, and shifts are allocated between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekend work.
We aim to have our Community Support Workers working within particular areas to reduce travelling, though at times, you could be working across our beautiful county. You will need a full driving licence and access to your own car.
