This is an exciting time to join Herefordshire Council’s adult social care teams. Recent innovation and service transformation has led to new funding streams, which is enabling us to enhance the workforce and create several exciting new posts and training opportunities throughout our teams.
Working with local policy and developments, services are growing to support our ambition to help adults live safe, healthy and independent lives by offering enhanced preventative and pro-active services. Our multi-skilled locality teams enables us to be responsive to individuals whatever their needs.
We are looking for registered Social Worker’s with experience in mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities or older people, to help us drive our ambition forward. Experience of adult safeguarding and hospital discharges would be advantageous, but not essential. Essential, would be a passion for supporting people to have the best lives possible and the values and knowledge of delivering strengths-based, personalised, safe and effective services.
